Year 7 Transition Program - Support HUB
Meridan State College is an inclusive school on the Sunshine Coast Queensland.
We specialise in supporting students with social and emotional needs, learning support needs and students with a range of diagnosed disabilities including Speech Language Impairment, Intellectual Disability, Vision Impairment, Physical Impairment and Deaf/Hearing Impairment. Our College’s inclusive model supports Classroom Teachers working with Support Teachers and Teaching Assistants to cater for students within their classroom setting.
Support Hub transition consists of 60 minute sessions in Weeks 6, 7 and 8. They are designed to allow students who may receive extensive or substantial adjustments to familiarise themselves wit the school, teachers and support staff.
In addition to this, students will attend a full transition day in Week 10.
Day 1 - 7/11/23 1.30-2.30pm
Day 2 - 14/11/23 1.30 - 2.30pm
Day 3 - 21/11/23 1.30pm - 2.30pm
Day 4 - 6/12/23 All day
